Noteworthy News

It was a beautiful week at Augusta national golf club in Augusta Georgia. The weather was amazing every day golf and the course as usual looked immaculate.  The players did a lot of playing and little club changes thos week which is very typical for major tournament. We did a few adjustments to Bernhard Langer grips and a hybrid he brought with him that his daughter had been playing for a while specifically to use Augusta.  Checked on Tom Watson and all of his new equipment was very good and needed no changes and also Robert Garrigus was all good and needed no changes to the two Hybrids that he is playing this week.   We also debut a new hybrid headcover specifically for the Masters event that all players using Adams hybrids were given this week.  (See pictures below).  We built four new hybrid clubs for the 14 year old Chinese Amateur champion, Tian Lang Guan.  He tested and ended up keeping to test more at home.

About Andrew Hodson

I am the youngest with in a golfing family which has spanned three generations. My grandfather started the tradition in England (Bert Hodson-1931 Ryder Cup Team) and has since passed on his knowledge and love of the game. Although I did not follow in the steps of my father and grandfather on a professional golfing level, my love of the game and commitment to accurately fit equipment has only grown. Even as a kid I enjoyed re-gripping clubs which eventually led to refinishing wood heads, re-shafting, and now has culminated in more detailed custom club fitting, building, and repair.
