Got a new look at the new Mizuno and WOW! Most everything will continue to stay in the lineup with the addition of 4 new heads. I’m most excited about the JPX EZ line (both forged and thinnest cast face on the market) which will provide the longest and most forgiving irons you can find. These will even be hotter than the old MX-1000 (titanium face) but will have a more conventional look. Here are some amazing stats on the ez in terms of forgiveness. The Mizuno EZ features a face sweet area which is 83% LARGER than the Taylor Made Rocketbladez, 55% larger than the Ping G25, and 52% larger than the Callaway XHot. The design of the EZ also helps it to achieve the highest COR of any iron out there. Click on the links below for more specific information on the new line (JPX-EZ, JPX-EZ Forged, MP-4, MP-54. This new EZ line is basically a larger more forgiving head and the extremely popular (my best seller) JPX-825& JPX-825 pro will stay in the lineup for next year 🙂

About Andrew Hodson

I am the youngest with in a golfing family which has spanned three generations. My grandfather started the tradition in England (Bert Hodson-1931 Ryder Cup Team) and has since passed on his knowledge and love of the game. Although I did not follow in the steps of my father and grandfather on a professional golfing level, my love of the game and commitment to accurately fit equipment has only grown. Even as a kid I enjoyed re-gripping clubs which eventually led to refinishing wood heads, re-shafting, and now has culminated in more detailed custom club fitting, building, and repair.
