Don’t be fooled though as all the major OEM’s are now offering the Fujikura Ventus (non-velicore) shafts this year as no-upcharge options. If it doesn’t have the velicore don’t bother – you get what you pay for or rather you don’t get what you don’t pay for. It’s hard to imagine a better performing shaft but the new Ventus+ lineup (Red, Blue, Black) features some extra ingredients sprinkled lovingly throughout to further improve spin & consistency.
