So I came across a rather unique shaft designer who has developed a very intriguing concept/design. A shaft that is basically built using moderate quality composite yet has an internal rib structure that significantly reduces the deviations normally associated with twisting and drooping. Each shaft is built with 8 of these interior ribs which intersect and “lock” when the shaft begins to twist which, according to the designer, allows for a exceptionally quick recovery rate which would get the head back to square at impact. The end result would be a moderately priced shaft that performs like the much more expensive premium shafts. I like the bend profile but will do my own testing once they arrive – I will keep everyone posted!
