PING pros in the United States and Europe have quickly adopted PING’s newest technology— the Cadence TR putters. In the putters’ debut week on tour, Hunter Mahan put the Cadence TR Anser 2 in his bag at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, where Angel Cabrera relied on a new Cadence TR Anser 2 CB counterbalanced model. Miguel Ángel Jiménez switched to the Cadence TR Tomcat C center-shafted putter, one of four new head designs in the eight-model series. Cadence TR line advances putter fitting by matching the head weight to a golfer’s stroke tempo and feel preference. Models are available in a choice of weighted face inserts. A traditional weight insert (blue in color, aluminum) fits mid-to faster tempos and can improve lag putting. Heavy versions (black, stainless steel) fit slower tempos and can help with shorter range putts. Next-generation True-Roll Technology grooves vary in width and depth to provide unmatched ball-speed consistency and accuracy on putts of any length.
